Growing up with a Mom who quilted, Lisa learned to sew at a very young age. Sewing clothing was her first passion, however watching her mother grow as a quilter, she saw an opportunity for her creativity in quilting.
Always creative, Lisa graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with degree in graphic design. As an art director for more than 20 years, she saw quilting as an outlet for her creativity away from work. Often collaborating with her Mom on designs, she is constantly looking for new ways to push the boundaries of ‘quilting’. As co-author of the book One Patch Plus, she was able to combine her design and quilting skills.
Currently Lisa resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Brian, and dog Shadow. Lisa and her Mom email daily exchanging photos, ideas and input on quilting projects. They are currently working two new quilting books.
